"Splish Splash" Sasqua Flower Show
Fri. May 18, 11 AM
Westport, a Garden Club of America. If you're in need of some Spring inspiration, a flower show might be just the ticket. Special exhibits on Conservation, and Garden History and Design. Free, carpool from office.
 
Annual Meeting
Sun. May 20, 2 PM
Speaker Rob Mallozzi, St. Mark's Morrill Hall. Come see friends and make new ones, ask Rob about his first year as Selectman, hear a brief update on our program and enjoy some lovely refreshments.
 
"Financial Markets Today"
Thurs. May 24, 4 PM
Mike Holland, New Canaan Library, Lamb Room, free. Mike is a regular on CNBC's "Squawk Box" and PBS's "Nightly Business Report," a frequently called upon expert in financial markets, a New Canaan resident and one of our most popular speakers!

  1. Wed. May 2-Wed. May 23, 1 PM. (four consecutive Wednesdays) "Memory Matters" Lapham Community Center. Learn the latest research on how to preserve memory and cognitive function through diet, exercise and mental stimulation. A second hour provides speakers on music history and the practice of using art to create expression of personal feelings. An excellent program! Reservations required (203-594-3620).
  2. Interested in touring the National Parks this fall? Join members of the Senior Men's Club for a 12 day tour September 16-27, 2012. We have a flyer with details on the trip in the office.
  3. The medication drop off box is available 24 hours a day, every day. It's located at the police department.
