In its continuing commitment to addressing the needs of the community, Bankwell of New Canaan awarded a grant of $2500 to Staying Put in New Canaan in February. The grant will support the Member Scholarship Program.
“About 10% of Staying Put members are not able to pay their dues because of their personal and financial situations,” says Barb Achenbaum, Executive Director of Staying Put. “We do not turn away any seniors who need our services and are grateful to Bankwell for helping to make this possible.”
“One of our top priorities at Bankwell is ensuring that we use our resources to reach out to the community, especially to those in need,” says Diane Knetzger, Director of Marketing at Bankwell. “We are proud to have established this partnership with Staying Put and to support its work with our seniors.”
