Staying Put's own Janecke Madsen was awarded "Hands-On Hall of Fame" Volunteer at the 2016 New Canaan Community Foundation ceremony on Nov. 18th. Janecke has been an indispensable volunteer since we opened our doors in 2008. Last year alone she gave 130 rides committing 90 hours and cruising over 600 miles! She truly deserved her standing ovation!
Staying Put members enjoyed a Night in the Caribbean on June 26. Over 100 members and friends attended the annual fundraiser which was held under a tent in member Lila Coleman's beautiful backyard. The picture-perfect evening featured mild breezes, a delicious barbecue buffet, steel band music, and colorful tropical attire.
.Over 100 people attended Staying Put’s two-part spring program on end-of-life planning, co-sponsored with the Alliance of Business Professionals. Channel 79 filmed both panel discussions in their entirety.
