Lapham. Tania Paparazzo, MSW, Southwestern CT Regional Director Alzheimer's Assoc., will share communication strategies and ways to minimize challenges which can help caregivers, family and friends to stay connected when a person is diagnosed with dementia. She will also discuss ways to keep the environment safe. RSVP.

Sun., Feb. 22, 3 p.m: Historian John Demos, Author of The Unredeemed Captive
New Canaan Library, Lamb Room. Mr. Demos will present a fascinating glimpse into the 1704 abduction of Puritan Minister John Williams and his family by Native Americans and his daughter's decision to embrace the culture and stay with the Mohawks after the family is released.
