Thurs., Apr. 24, 1:30 p.m.: "Laughter is the Best Medicine"
Lapham. Dr. Steven Jones, Director of Outpatient Medicine at Greenwich Hospital, will give an informative and fun discussion on the health benefits of laughter. RSVP: 203-594-3620. Free.

Tues., May 6, 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Gilberties Garden, Westport
Carpool from Staying Put Office and see what is new on the herb scene. Just in time for our gardens!
Tues., May 6, 7:30 p.m.: New Canaan High School Band and Jazz Ensemble
Will team with the Summer Theater of New Canaan at the High School to present Musicals, Masters and Marches. Musicals include Music Man, Grease and Hairspray. Selections from Duke Ellington and marches by John Philip Sousa. Free. Reception following.

Grammy award winner musician/composer will perform at The Village on Main Street at Waveny Care. Free.

Come see the new bakery and meet its owner, Karen Zuckert. Treats for all! We'll carpool from the office.

Tues., May 20: New Canaan Inn Tech Time
Sue Scannell will have appointments set up to clean up individual computers from 2 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. and at 4 p.m. she will answer iPad questions.

Tues., May 20, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Dinner - Red Barn
Westport - Enjoy dinner at this cozy, rustic restaurant. Dinner includes an appetizer, choice of 4 entrees, dessert, a glass of house wine or soft drink. Private room for us! Cost: $30 (includes tip and tax.)

  • Thurs., May 15, 9:30 a.m. - A Slice of Brooklyn. Experience Brooklyn's sights, sounds and New York's best pizza. A Brooklyn-bred tour guide will educate you on the history of pizza.
