Become a Volunteer
Staying Put in New Canaan is a cooperative effort between you and your neighbor to help keep our residents over 50 a vital and independent part of our community. We depend on and appreciate your participation in any way you can contribute.
There are a variety of ways to help at a time that fits your schedule (daily, weekly or monthly) and capabilities. These include driving seniors to the grocery, the drug store or a medical appointment; running a simple errand; helping at social programs; or working in the office.
To discuss volunteer opportunities, contact our Executive Director, Barb Achenbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org
or Kathy Collins, Director of Member Resources at email@example.com
Thank You for your interest. We look forward to speaking with you!Fifty Staying Put friends gathered last night at the First Presbyterian Church to celebrate Staying Put's Nonagenarians. Ten 90+ year olds enjoyed a sumptuous Potluck feast and a special musical tribute by Board Member Nancy Helle and Melody Libonati of the Performing Arts Conservatory. Happy Birthday to all!
